NOVA AI-BOX

PROFESSIONAL VIDEO ANALYTICS SERVER

NOVA AI-Box compact servers are designed to receive source video signals, process them using built-in video analytics modules and further transmit video streams with metadata. Any video analytics server of this series provides high accuracy of detection, classification and counting of objects, thanks to the use of Deep Learning AI Engine and Analytics Rule Engine cores based on a trained neural network, as well as the presence of manual and automatic false alarm filters. Due to the extensive functionality of video analytics, AI-Box devices will be in demand for video surveillance, business intelligence, access control, loss prevention and other tasks.

Autonomous AI-Box servers of the NOVA brand contain built-in video analytics and allow you to add detectors, counters and other applications to an existing security video system. This series combines models for 4, 8 and 16 channels, compatible with IP cameras and NVR/DVR of various brands by ONVIF and RTSP. Each video analytics server uses trainable artificial intelligence algorithms, does not require calibration and allows you to flexibly configure the rules for detecting events and responding to them. AI-Box devices support processing of video streams with a resolution of up to 4K Ultra HD and are effective at monitoring objects with large areas, difficult lighting conditions and heavy traffic.

Specification

 – Functions to improve the efficiency of security video surveillance

The detector installed on AI-Box servers detects objects and recognizes people, cars and bicycles/motorcycles in them, significantly expanding the functionality of the video system when monitoring the perimeter and protected area.  Along with the detector, the video analytics server uses filters for intrusion, presence, entry/exit, stop, line crossing, direction of movement of objects and the distance between them. In addition to analytical functions, the AI-Box has 4 inputs for connecting external security sensors and a relay output for the actuator.

Smart meters for commercial enterprises

At retail facilities, modules for counting people and cars crossing a virtual line or located in a certain zone implemented in AI-Box servers will be in demand, as well as functions for generating heat maps and statistical reports for analyzing and optimizing business processes. With their help, the video analytics server allows you to evaluate and keep under continuous control the congestion of parking lots and trading halls, manage queues and plan the number of personnel involved on certain days and times of the day.

Architecture

The intelligent servers of this series are ready to work immediately “out of the box” without calibration, and the dimensions, which are only 20x13x4 cm, allow them to be placed almost anywhere. The video analytics server is connected to the video surveillance system and video signal sources (IP cameras, digital/network video recorders, etc.) via a network switch via a Gigabit Ethernet interface. The AI-Box is configured via a simple and convenient web interface, and the servers have an HDMI port to connect a local monitor with a resolution of up to 4K UHD and output video with video analytics metadata to it
